Job summary

Tailing International, LLC is seeking a safety professional to coordinate and supervise health and safety programs for Clients/Projects. You will work directly for the contractor and focus on leading safety policies at sites or client sites.

Your role will include planning and directing safety procedures, conducting trainings, and ensuring compliance with regulations. A strong emphasis on field presence and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction safety.
• BCSP certification or Degree in Safety preferred.
• Electrical construction experience preferred.
• Must conduct daily and weekly safety trainings.
• Must pass pre-employment and criminal background check.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Prevent incidents and injuries by being visible in the field and walking jobs.
• Develop and deliver Safety Training and New Hire Orientations as required by regulations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and client safety programs.
• Prevent and mitigate injuries and illnesses.
• Lead/Assist in accident investigations and return-to-work programs.
• Perform job site safety audits daily or weekly as project demands.
• Anticipate, develop, implement, and measure hazard controls and programs.
• Coordinate with clients on drug and alcohol testing and safety communications.
