Job summary

Civil Constructors LLC is seeking a Site Safety Coordinator to lead safety on field projects, partner with project teams, and drive a culture of ownership over safety. You will implement, monitor, and continuously improve our safety program across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes hands-on field engagement, coaching, and practical hazard mitigation to protect workers while maintaining productivity. Travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 and valid driver's license required.
• Minimum 5 years of construction or safety-related experience.
• Ability to travel between job sites.
• Knowledge of OSHA/TOSHA standards and safety regulations.
• Field credibility and strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail in inspections and documentation.
• Initiative and proactive safety improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in safety or related construction safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent presence on assigned job sites to reinforce safe work practices.
• Engage with superintendents, foremen, and crews to influence safety behaviors.
• Participate in daily huddles, pre-task planning (PTPs), and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
• Identify risks with project teams before work begins and help plan safe, productive tasks.
• Assist operations in planning work that is both safe and efficient.
• Support field teams with practical safety solutions and coaching.
• Conduct site safety inspections and document findings; track corrective actions to closure.
• Assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Deliver and support safety training initiatives and refreshers.
• Maintain and update site safety plans (SSSPs) and required documentation.
