Job summary

Limbach Facility Services LLC is seeking a Field Safety Rep to lead safety training and ensure program compliance across projects. You will orient new employees, implement safety initiatives, and partner with branch leadership to keep safety at the forefront of daily operations.

The role requires translating safety strategy to local actions, engaging staff at all levels, and conducting thorough investigations while staying current with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant safety experience.
• Experience in highly safety sensitive environments (e.g., construction).
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Basic proficiency with computer applications and training software.

Responsibilities

• Translates the safety strategy into practical actions within the local branch.
• Partners with leadership and employees to continually improve safety processes and outcomes.
• Engages employees at all levels to clearly understand responsibilities, policies, and expectations.
• Implements measures to mitigate risks using engineering, administrative controls, and PPE.
• Leads near miss and incident investigations and communicates findings for corrective actions.
• Keeps up with federal, state, and local regulations impacting the business.
