Job summary

MAXAIR seeks a Safety Coordinator to promote a proactive safety culture across field operations. You will collaborate with field staff, supervisors, project managers, and leadership to ensure OSHA compliance and best practices.

The role emphasizes visible field leadership, hazard identification, and building trust with employees to embed safety as a core value. This is a full-time position in Marietta, GA with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of construction safety experience preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification preferred.
• CHST, STS-C, OSHA 500, and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Standards.
• Valid driver''s license required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and reinforce MAXAIR safety culture.
• Conduct routine and unannounced safety audits and inspections.
• Support Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Pre-Task Planning.
• Deliver New Hire Orientation and safety training.
• Investigate injuries, near misses, vehicle accidents, and property damage incidents.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and required safety records.
• Support fleet safety and Smith System Driver Training.
• Assist with workers' compensation case management and return-to-work programs.
• Track corrective actions and ensure timely completion.
• Support development and implementation of safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in Safety Committee meetings and improvement initiatives.
• Prepare safety reports, metrics, and executive communications.
