Job summary

CEC FACILITIES LLC is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement safety programs, conduct field walks, and oversee audits to address safety issues and foster a safe culture at project sites. The role emphasizes coaching, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications include OSHA 30, 1–3 years in construction safety, and strong communication skills. The position involves extensive fieldwork, varied shifts, and travel between project sites in the El Paso area.

Qualifications

• Degree or extensive training in environmental health and safety discipline is a plus.
• 1–3 years of construction safety experience (electrical, mechanical safety preferred).
• OSHA 30 Construction required; OSHA 510/511 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coach Foremen in completing ORM boards and Job Hazard Analyses, and document ORM boards daily.
• Work day and/or night shifts including overtime and weekends as project schedule requires.
• Submit Site Safety Audit reports daily with findings, hazards and corrective actions, supported by photos.
• Interact with field personnel and site supervision to address observations and resolutions.
• Assist site supervision with job-site safety orientations for new workers.
• Assist in incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Periodically audit power tools and equipment to ensure proper maintenance and safety compliance.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
