Job summary

The ideal candidate will have OSHA 30, 1–3 years in construction safety, and strong communication to influence safe work practices on heavy construction projects.

Qualifications

• Degree or extensive training in environmental health and safety discipline a plus.
• 1–3 years in construction safety experience (electrical, mechanical safety experience preferred).
• OSHA 30 Construction required; OSHA 510/511 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coach Crew Foreman/General Foremen in ORM boards and JHA development.
• Submit Site Safety Audit reports daily with findings, hazards, and corrective actions.
• Interact with field personnel and site supervision to address safety observations.
• Assist with site safety orientations for new employees joining the project.
• Assist site supervision in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Perform periodic audits of tools and equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety rules and project requirements.
