Gateway Services Inc. is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to support operations across the Central region. This field-facing role partners with Operations to identify risks, conduct inspections and investigations, and implement practical preventive actions to keep teams safe.

You will influence safety practice, translate requirements into action, and work with senior leaders to sustain continuous improvement across Care Centers.

Qualifications

• Strong safety foundation and ability to translate requirements into practice.
• Excellent communication skills for operational leaders and frontline Team Members.
• Experience conducting workplace inspections and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace assessments and safety inspections across Central region.
• Support incident investigations and identify preventive actions.
• Provide practical safety guidance aligned with operations priorities.
• Maintain safety data, trends and reporting to drive improvements.
• Partner with Operations, Fleet and HR on cross-functional safety matters.
• Help implement safety policies, tools and learning programs.
