Job summary

Clark Construction is seeking a Safety Coordinator to safeguard the health and well-being of thousands of craft workers and project teams across our sites. You will help administer the Safety, Health, and Environmental program, enforce standards, coach crews, and coordinate OSHA reviews while working on active construction sites in Missouri.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergrad or master's degree in safety/engineering with expected graduation Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
• Passion and interest in the construction industry.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement safe working practices and assist in administering Clark's Safety, Health, and Environmental program.
• Enforce safety and health programs per federal, state, and local standards.
• Promote a positive safety culture through coaching and education of Clark employees and trade contractors.
• Develop and implement project-specific safety programs.
• Identify hazards and provide input to mitigate conditions and ensure compliance.
• Conduct site-walks and report safety performance and future plans.
• Coordinate third-party safety reviews, including OSHA.
