Job summary

Clark Construction is seeking a Safety Coordinator to safeguard workers across multiple job sites. You will support the Safety, Health, and Environmental program, enforce standards, and drive a culture of care with field teams.

The role requires pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in OH&S or related fields, with OSHA training preferred. The position is site-heavy, with physical requirements and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) or a master's degree in occupational health and safety, construction management, engineering, or a related field, with an expected graduation in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
• Passion and interest in the construction industry

Responsibilities

• Implementing safe working practices and assisting in Clark's Safety, Health, and Environmental program.
• Enforcing corporate and project safety programs and federal/state/local safety standards.
• Promoting a positive safety culture through coaching and education for Clark employees and trade contractors.
• Developing and implementing project-specific safety programs.
• Identifying hazards and providing input to mitigate conditions and ensure compliance.
• Conducting site walks and reporting on safety performance and future plans.
• Coordinating with field supervision on complex safety aspects of construction.
