Job summary

Cec Facilities LLC is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement safety programs on active construction sites, coach crews, and support a strong safety culture. The role emphasizes ORM boards, JHA development and proactive hazard control.

The position requires OSHA 30, field experience, and the ability to lead investigations, perform audits, and train personnel. Travel to project sites and flexible shifts may be necessary to meet project schedules.

Qualifications

• Degree or extensive training in environmental health and safety.
• 1–3 years in construction safety experience (electrical, mechanical safety preferred).
• OSHA 30 Construction required; OSHA 510/511 preferred.
• CPR/FA Certified.
• Bi-lingual desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coach Crew Foreman/General Foremen in completing daily ORM boards and Job Hazard Analyses.
• Submit Site Safety Audit reports daily with findings and corrective actions.
• Conduct site safety orientations for new employees.
• Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Periodically audit power tools and equipment for safe use and maintenance.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety requirements.
• Perform other related duties to support department goals.
