Job summary

CEC Companies is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement safety programs, conduct field walks, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop project-specific corrective actions. The role emphasizes coaching for safe behavior and fostering a safety culture across sites, with flexibility for variable shifts and travel.

Responsibilities include coaching on ORM boards, conducting audits, investigating incidents, and ensuring subcontractor safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum safety training or degree with EH&S focus.
• OSHA 30 Construction required; OSHA 510/511 preferred.
• Experience in construction safety and safety program oversight.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coach foremen in ORM boards and Job Hazard Analyses; document daily.
• Work day and/or night shifts, overtime, and weekends as project schedules require.
• Submit Site Safety Audit reports daily with findings, actions, and photos.
• Interact with field personnel to address safety observations and resolve issues.
• Deliver site-specific safety orientations for new hires.
• Assist with incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Audit power tools and equipment for proper maintenance and use.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety rules and project requirements.
• Perform related duties to support efficient safety operations.
