Southland Industries is seeking a Recent Grad/Alumni Safety Coordinator to assist the Safety Manager in enforcing safety procedures across design/build HVAC, plumbing and fire protection projects. The role focuses on implementing safety policies, coordinating training, and maintaining records on a variety of safety initiatives and site operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tasks on project sites are performed safely per policies and OSHA standards.
• Help implement the Corporate Safety Award Program.
• Distribute certification cards and maintain training records.
• Report and manage company vehicle and workers' compensation claims.
• Update MSDS manual and assemble safety manuals for distribution.
• Support tailgate meetings and maintain signed records.
