Southland Industries is seeking a proactive Occupational Health & Safety-focused professional to assist the Safety Manager in enforcing safety procedures across our Design/Build HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection projects. You will help coordinate division safety activities, ensure OSHA standards are met, and support constructing sites with effective safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tasks on project sites are performed safely per company policy and OSHA standards.
• Help implement the Corporate Safety Award Program.
• Distribute certification cards for industrial equipment training and maintain records.
• Report and manage all company vehicle claims.
• Assist in reporting workers' compensation claims.
• Update MSDS manual and assemble safety materials for distribution.
• Assist in safety tailgate meetings and maintain signed tailgate records.
