Job summary

Tremco is seeking a Field Estimator in the General Services group to deliver accurate, timely estimates for patch-and-repair projects within the region. You will assess roofing and envelope conditions, develop scopes of work, budgets, and professional proposals for roof and facade work, and communicate with field teams and sales to align scope and costs.

The role requires field measurements, strong attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in field teams.
• Roofing patch and repair experience.
• Knowledge of project management, planning, and scheduling.
• Strong budgeting and expense management skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software and take-off tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the QC process with the QCS for field representatives, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
• Investigate roof and building envelope conditions to support general services estimates and proposals.
• Serve as a technical resource with roofing systems expertise.
• Perform detailed take-offs from construction documents to support proposals.
• Travel to project sites as needed for proposal development and validation.
• Collaborate with Tremco Sales Representatives, WTI Field personnel, and Construction Managers.
• Provide RoofSnap labor details to support LIP preparation for proposals.
• Prepare detailed estimates by reviewing scopes, plans, specs, and addenda.
• Identify suppliers and subcontractors for inclusion in estimates.
• Ensure vendors without MSAs are approved and documented to avoid procurement delays.
• Conduct thorough take-offs for roofing repairs and renovations.
• Assemble and present estimates with precise data and descriptions.
• Maintain timely communication with customers and staff.
• Assist in training Field Representatives and Elevate program candidates.
• Conduct Platinum Inspections to prepare cost estimate proposals.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Tremco services and deliverables.
• Participate in required calls, meetings, and organizational communications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by RBM or GS Supervisor.
