Job summary

Tremco CPG Inc. is seeking a Field Estimator in the San Diego area to deliver accurate estimates for patch-and-repair projects within the assigned region. The role supports sales and operations by developing well-structured proposals that balance cost and scope.

The successful candidate will review project plans, inspect sites, and generate detailed scopes of work and budgets while coordinating with field teams, foremen, and technicians to ensure alignment with customer needs and timelines.

Qualifications

• Direct supervisory experience over field teams and subcontractors.
• Experience assessing roofing and building envelope conditions.
• Ability to develop detailed scopes of work, budgets, and estimating crews.
• Strong communication with sales reps, field staff, and customers.
• Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and cost management in construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate QC with QCS and ensure work meets standards and customer satisfaction.
• Investigate roof/building envelope conditions to support estimates and proposals.
• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates from plans, specs, and addenda.
• Travel to project sites as needed for proposal development and validation.
• Collaborate with sales reps, field personnel, and estimators to align scope and costs.
• Provide labor details to support LIP preparation for proposals.
• Identify suppliers and subs as needed for estimates.
