Job summary

Guardian Protection Products seeks a General Services Field Estimator to deliver accurate roofing and façade estimates across the region. You will assess existing conditions, develop scopes of work, budgets, and professional proposals for repairs and renovations, and liaise with field teams to communicate project scope and expectations.

The role requires travel to project sites, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting with strong collaboration

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory skills and ability to manage people and tasks.
• Prior roofing experience, including patch and repair skills.
• Knowledge of Project Management, planning, and scheduling.
• Knowledge and experience monitoring and maintaining quality control.
• Functional computer skills.
• Safety training and OSHA knowledge.
• Understanding of budgeting and expense management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate QC process with QC Specialist for region.
• Investigate roof/building envelope conditions for GS estimates.
• Serve as technical resource with roofing systems expertise.
• Perform detailed take-offs from construction documents.
• Travel to project sites for proposal development and validation.
• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates from plans and specs.
• Identify and contact suppliers/subcontractors for estimates.
• Ensure MSAs are secured or referred for approval.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and teams.
