Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Robotics Delivery & Packaging Innovation (RDPI) team. The role focuses on deploying industrial automation across North America stores, with heavy travel and on-site leadership for installation, commissioning, and support.

You will collaborate with hardware engineering, product managers, and operations teams, guiding project execution from planning to go-live while driving continuous improvement in deployment processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 1+ year’s experience with technical drawings and/or reading CAD models (mechanical and electrical).
• 1+ year’s experience working on mechanical, electrical, IT networked, or software systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and/or CAD models to resolve on-site clash issues using 3D clash detection reports.
• Ability to troubleshoot robotics systems to resolve escalations including quality hand-off and site acceptance testing.
• Ability to read and develop technical documentation and process instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support installation of robotics, packaging and sortation technologies at Amazon fulfillment centers.
• Develop knowledge of operation of robotic systems and guide installation, commissioning and troubleshooting on site and remotely.
• Manage day-to-day project scheduling and budget management.
• Lead teams of other engineers on projects.
• Travel to project sites across North America to meet project requirements.
