Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Robotics Delivery & Packaging Innovations team to deploy advanced automation across North America stores. You will oversee installation, commissioning, and integration of robotic systems, coordinating with hardware, software, and operations teams while traveling extensively.

The role emphasizes leadership on-site and delivering multi-project deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, warehouse, or similar environments.
• 1+ years' experience with CAD models (mechanical and electrical).
• 1+ years' experience with mechanical, electrical, IT networks, or software systems.
• Ability to leverage data collection and make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to review data to set troubleshoot priorities on complex systems.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work in construction or warehouse settings and travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide installation of robotics, packaging and sortation technologies at fulfillment centers.
• Develop knowledge of robotic system operation and guide installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting on site and remotely.
• Manage technical ambiguity around integration of work cells in fulfillment centers.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, program managers, product managers, and internal customers.
• Travel to project sites and coordinate virtually and in person to align stakeholders on status.
• Manage day-to-day project scheduling and budget management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement new ideas for work scopes.
• Lead teams of engineers on projects.
