Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Robotics Delivery & Packaging Innovation (RDPI) team. You will oversee planning, installation, and launch of large-scale automation across North America, combining hardware, software, and IT networking skills.

You will lead on-site deployments, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and travel extensively to project sites to ensure alignment and successful go-lives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field.
• Experience in or around construction, manufacturing, warehouse, or similar environment.
• 1+ year experience with technical drawings and/or reading CAD models (mechanical and electrical).
• 1+ year experience with mechanical, electrical, IT networked, or software systems.
• Ability to travel domestically 75% or more.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site deployment of robotics and automation at fulfillment centers.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, product managers, and site maintenance teams.
• Manage project scheduling and budgets for multiple deployments.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and remote troubleshooting of systems.
• Travel to project sites across North America, 75%+ when required.
• Provide technical oversight from planning through go-live.
