Job summary

Ambi Robotics is seeking a Field Support Engineer to be the first line of contact for customers using robotic systems in the field. You will travel to sites for installations, perform preventative maintenance, and coordinate resolutions with software and hardware teams.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in hardware and software product support, strong communication, and a customer-focused mindset. This role includes equity ownership, generous PTO, and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of product support engineering experience with electro-mechanical hardware and software systems.
• Willingness and ability to travel (up to 50%).
• BA/BS in a related field

Responsibilities

• Take primary ownership of one or more sites as the customer point-of-contact.
• Provide secondary backup ownership to others.
• Participate in travel deployment projects in the field (1-2 weeks at a time).
• Participate in customer support phone and email on-call rotations.
• Schedule, track, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Build and maintain reactive technical support processes.
• Lead and contribute to support team projects.
