Job summary
TRC Talent is partnering with a cutting-edge robotics software startup to hire a Deployment Engineer who will own field deployments for Fortune 500 customers. You will serve as the primary on-site technical lead, coordinating hardware, software, and networking aspects across diverse environments.
The role requires hands-on problem solving in Linux environments with strong communication skills and the ability to travel 75–100% nationwide. Remote work options are available for eligible sites.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
Responsibilities
- Support on-site deployment and commissioning of robotic systems, including hardware, software, controls, and networking components.
- Serve as the primary on-site representative and technical lead during deployments and customer go-lives.
- Coordinate deployment activities, communicate project status, and work closely with engineering and support teams to resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot system, hardware, software, and networking problems in the field.
- Document, track, and elevate issues while ensuring timely resolution.
- Verify system performance and support customer acceptance testing (SAT) and training.
- Perform preventative maintenance, upgrades, and ongoing customer support.
- Travel extensively to customer sites nationwide (75–100% travel).
