Job summary

TRC Talent is partnering with a cutting-edge robotics software startup to hire a Deployment Engineer who will own field deployments for Fortune 500 customers. You will serve as the primary on-site technical lead, coordinating hardware, software, and networking aspects across diverse environments.

The role requires hands-on problem solving in Linux environments with strong communication skills and the ability to travel 75–100% nationwide. Remote work options are available for eligible sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site deployment and commissioning of robotic systems, including hardware, software, controls, and networking components.
• Serve as the primary on-site representative and technical lead during deployments and customer go-lives.
• Coordinate deployment activities, communicate project status, and work closely with engineering and support teams to resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot system, hardware, software, and networking problems in the field.
• Document, track, and elevate issues while ensuring timely resolution.
• Verify system performance and support customer acceptance testing (SAT) and training.
• Perform preventative maintenance, upgrades, and ongoing customer support.
• Travel extensively to customer sites nationwide (75–100% travel).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse or factory automation systems.
• Exposure to PLCs, CAD software, robot programming, or controls engineering.
• Familiarity with Python, REST APIs, or technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience with FANUC, Yaskawa, or similar articulated robotic platforms.
