Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Robotics Delivery & Packaging Innovation (RDPI) Technology Deployment team. You will lead on-site deployment of robotics across North America, coordinating with multiple teams and travel-based assignments to deliver scalable automation solutions.

The role emphasizes field execution, cross-functional collaboration, and technical leadership in installation, integration, and optimization of robotics systems in fulfillment centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field.
• Experience in data analysis to inform decision-making processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot robotics systems and read technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• You will support and guide installation of robotics, packaging and sortation technologies at Amazon fulfillment centers
• You will develop detailed knowledge of the operation of robotic systems and guide installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of these systems both on site and remotely
• You will manage technical ambiguity around integration of work cells in fulfillment centers
• You will collaborate with hardware engineering, technical program managers, product managers, and internal customers including site maintenance and operations teams
• You will travel to project sites and collaborate both virtually and in person to ensure all business stakeholders are aligned on program status
• You will manage day to day project scheduling and budget management
• You will work on continuous improvement activities to improve the projects in your space
• You will generate and implement continuous improvement ideas around work-scopes
• You will lead teams of other engineers on projects
• You will travel to both live warehouses and new construction sites, the scopes may vary significantly in length and include heavy travel
• You will travel to project sites across North America, upwards of 75% or more
