Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Robotics Delivery & Packaging Innovation (RDPI) Technology Deployment team. You will oversee large-scale deployment of industrial automation across North America stores, coordinating across engineering, software, and operations, and leading on-site projects with extensive travel.

You will manage installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of robotics equipment, guide teams, and drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or related STEM required.
• 1+ year experience with technical drawings and CAD models.
• 1+ year experience with mechanical, electrical, IT networked, or software systems.
• Ability to read CAD drawings and resolve on-site clashes with 3D reports.
• Willingness to travel across the US and potentially internationally.

Responsibilities

• Support installation of robotics, packaging and sortation technologies at Amazon fulfillment centers.
• Develop knowledge of robotic systems and guide installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting on site and remotely.
• Manage technical ambiguity around integration of work cells in fulfillment centers.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, TPMs, product managers, and site teams.
• Travel to project sites and collaborate virtually and in person to align on program status.
• Manage day-to-day project scheduling and budget management.
• Lead continuous improvement activities to improve project space work-scopes.
• Lead teams of other engineers on projects.
• Travel to live warehouses and new construction sites with varied scopes.
• Travel to project sites across North America, up to 75% or more.
