Job summary

CDM Smith's Transportation Construction, Engineering and Inspection group is seeking a candidate to inspect and monitor construction activities at various field site locations in Location. Inspections are routine and standardized; candidate will work under direct supervision.

Must read plans, specifications and coordinate with project teams to ensure quality and compliance. Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license and 0 years.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English.
• Basic knowledge of arithmetic and reading construction plans.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of traffic control, environmental controls, layout, construction methods and materials under direct supervision.
• Review daily reports and assess contractor work for conformance with plans and QC procedures.
• Review material testing procedures and may perform sampling or in‑place testing as needed.
