CDM Smith's Transportation Construction, Engineering and Inspection group seeks a field inspector to monitor highway construction activities at sites around Columbia, SC. You will work under the supervision of senior inspectors and engineers, reading plans and specifications, verifying materials, and documenting daily progress.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, applicable certifications (ACI/NICET) if required, a valid driver's license, and about 2 years of related

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent; certifications from a State Highway Agency or National Entity may be required by the client or jurisdiction
• Valid driver’s license; 2 years of related experience; travel may be required
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

Mansioni

• Inspect and monitor highway construction activities at field sites.
• Read and interpret construction plans and drawings, contract provisions and specifications.
