CDM Smith is seeking an on-site Field Inspector to support our Transportation Construction, Engineering and Inspection group. The role involves working at project locations across the United States and directly contributing to project success by performing inspections and ensuring quality control.

You will review contractor procedures and daily reports, assist with materials testing, and may perform sampling of soils and concrete.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 0 years of experience; travel may be required.

Aufgaben

• Perform inspections of traffic control, environmental controls, layout, construction methods and materials under direct supervision.
• Review daily contractor reports and QC procedures for conformance with plans and procedures.
• Review material testing procedures and results for conformance to contract and calculate material quantities.
• May perform sampling and in-place testing of soil, aggregate base, concrete, and asphalt pavement.
