Job summary

NextGear Capital, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking a Field Service Analyst to perform on-site risk assessments and dealer inventory audits across Texas. The role requires visiting dealer locations to verify collateral, inventory, and financial information while maintaining strong client relations.

The ideal candidate will have a finance/business background, 1–2 years in audit/inspection, and willingness to travel up to 75% regionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; auto industry exp may vary
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Willing to travel regionally on short notice (75% of the time)
• Valid driver's license
• Spanish speaking preferred
• 1–2 years audit/inspection experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with dealers on-site to conduct a comprehensive risk assessment
• Investigate, observe, and document dealership processes and identify risks
• Inspect collateral via lot and title audits to determine equity and health for underwriting
• Verify inventory in market share conversion of $500,000+ to mitigate risk and grow portfolio
• Present findings to the dealer and coordinate next steps (re-education, reviews, payments)
• Assist Recovery team with repossessions by collecting keys, securing collateral, and arranging transport
