Job summary

NextGear Capital, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking a Field Service Analyst to conduct on-site risk audits and deliver results for the Risk organization while supporting the client-facing Operations team managing NextGear Capital's dealer accounts.

The role focuses on assessing risk through sales docs, inventory audits, and dealer behavior, with written and verbal reports to Operations, Risk, and Leadership. Expect substantial field work and collaboration with dealers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field with generally less than 2 years of experience in the auto industry or related field. The right candidate may have 4 years' experience in a related field in lieu of a degree.
• 1-2 years audit/inspection experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be able and willing to travel Regional on short notice 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with dealers on-site to perform a thorough risk assessment.
• Investigate, observe, and document dealership processes to identify risks.
• Inspect collateral through audits and determine dealer equity and health for underwriting.
• Verify inventory and monitor market share conversions to mitigate risk and grow portfolio.
• Present findings to dealer and take steps such as re-educating on contract requirements and collecting docs.
• Assist Recovery team with repossessions and collateral transportation as needed.
