Job summary

DataScan is seeking a Field Risk Specialist to perform on-site inventory audits across automotive and related sectors. Candidates must reside in Dallas, TX or nearby, and be able to travel to dealerships within the assigned territory.

The role emphasizes accuracy, independent work, and clear communication with client representatives. The position offers a base salary and benefits, including a company vehicle or allowance, with overnight travel as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel overnight as needed (3 to 5 nights per month).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED; college preferred.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Meet with dealership personnel to determine missing inventory status.
• Review and validate dealer records related to sold, missing, or damaged inventory.
• Verify MSOs and vehicle titles.
• Record inventory status using mobile audit app.
• Document visit details and observations.
• Communicate audit results clearly to dealership staff.
• Assess risk exposure and report to client representatives.
