Job summary

Datascan Technologies, LLC in Frederick, MD, is seeking a Field Risk Specialist to perform on-site floorplan inventory audits for automotive and related sectors. You will verify VINs, review dealer records, and reconcile discrepancies with dealership staff while traveling within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Verify in-stock inventory by inspecting VIN/serial numbers at dealerships, indoors or outdoors.
• Meet with dealership personnel to research missing inventory status.
• Review and validate dealer records related to sold, missing, damaged inventory.
• Verify MSOs and vehicle titles for accuracy.
• Record inventory status and audit findings using a mobile audit app.
• Document dealership visit details and audit observations.
• Communicate audit results clearly to dealership staff and client reps.
• Identify risk exposure and report findings to customers.
