Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring a Field Service Analyst to conduct physical audits and risk assessments across dealer networks in the assigned territory. You will support the client-facing Operations team while evaluating the risk of a dealership’s business health through inventory and documentation audits.

The role requires navigating diverse environments, traveling as needed, and delivering clear written and verbal findings to Operations, Risk, and Senior Leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field with 2+ years of auto industry experience
• 1-2 years audit/inspection experience preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Willingness to travel regionally on short notice 75% of the time
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Audit/inspection experience

Responsibilities

• On-site visits establishing rapport with dealers to perform comprehensive risk assessments
• Investigate, observe, and document dealership processes to identify risks
• Inspect collateral through lot and title audits to determine dealers' equity and health for underwriting
• Verify inventory in market share conversions and mitigate risk while growing the portfolio
• Present findings to dealership and advise on contract requirements, inventory trends, payments, and documentation
• Assist Recovery team with repossessions including securing collateral and monitoring daily funding receivables
