NextGear Capital, a Cox Automotive company, is hiring a Field Service Analyst. The Field Service Analyst conducts physical audits and risk assessments supporting the client-facing Operations team managing NextGear Capital’s dealer accounts.

The role requires evaluating risk from sales docs and inventory audits, delivering results in written and verbal form, and interacting with clients to resolve outstanding audit items. Candidates must live in Birmingham, AL and travel Alabama 100%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field; 2+ years auto industry experience.
• Willingness to travel regional on short notice; valid driver’s license required.
• Audit/inspection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with dealers to perform comprehensive risk assessments.
• Investigate dealership processes and identify risks.
• Inspect collateral through audits to determine equity and health for underwriting.
• Verify inventory and mitigate risk while growing the portfolio.
• Present findings and advise on next steps to dealers and leadership.
• Support Recovery team with repossession logistics and collateral handling.
