Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Field Inventory Auditor I for the Chicago, IL market. You will conduct physical audits, assess dealer health, and report findings to Operations, Risk, and Senior Leadership while supporting the dealer account teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect collateral through lot and title audits to assess dealer equity.
• Verify inventory to mitigate risk and grow NextGear Capital portfolio.
• Present findings to dealer and advise next steps.
• Assist Recovery with repossessions and collateral logistics.
• Remain calm and professional in field environments.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PP, Outlook).
• Travel regionally on short notice up to 75%.
• 3+ years auto industry experience.
• Spanish language preferred.
• 1-2 years audit/inspection experience.
