Job summary

NextGear Capital, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking a Field Service Analyst in Charlotte, NC to conduct and deliver physical audits for the Risk organization while supporting the client-facing Operations team.

The role requires assessing client health through audits of sales documentation and inventory, with on-site visits and strong customer service. Travel up to 75% with a company vehicle provided; prior audit/inspection experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field.
• 1–2 years audit or inspection experience preferred; 4 years in lieu of a degree may be acceptable.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to travel regional on short notice up to 75% of the time.
• Audit or inspection experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Once on-site, quickly establish rapport with dealers to perform a comprehensive risk assessment.
• Investigate, observe, and document dealership processes to identify risks.
• Inspect collateral via lot and title audits to determine equity and health for underwriting.
• Verify inventory in market share conversions to mitigate risk and grow portfolio.
• Present findings to the dealer and guide next steps, including remedial actions.
• Support Recovery team with repossessions and collateral handling as needed.
