Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Visually inspect and test rigging materials for safety and reliability.
  • Align, level, and anchor machinery or equipment.
  • Attach loads to rigging using hand/power tools; secure machinery to prevent movement.
  • Select appropriate gear based on load weights and job specs.
  • Communicate signals to operators during rigging operations.
  • Move and maneuver heavy loads using rigging lines and hoists.
  • Operate vehicles or mechanized equipment as needed.
  • Assist in fabrication, setup, and repair of rigging and supporting structures.
