Job summary

MEI is seeking a skilled Foreman in Atlanta to supervise rigging and crating operations for on-site and mobile projects. You will lead crews, ensure safety standards, and deliver quality work aligned with customer specifications.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure, and clear communication with field personnel. Prior rigging foreman experience and proficiency with basic computer tools are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of rigging foreman / general foreman experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manuals and blueprints.
• English language skills; bilingual English/Spanish helpful but not required.
• Basic math, geometry and trigonometry; measurements in various units.
• Windows-based PC skills; MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel) and/or company software.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise rigging and crating tasks to meet job specifications.
• Ensure all customer and MEI requirements are followed.
• Coordinate multiple activities under pressure while staying professional.
• Assist with on-the-job training for staff.
• Promote teamwork and cooperation across crews.
• Set clear performance expectations and review progress.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe, orderly condition.
• Travel to job sites frequently and supervise assigned personnel.
• Represent MEI professionally with a customer‑service orientation.
• Address scheduling conflicts and manpower issues.
