Job summary

NC Power Systems in Anchorage, AK seeks an Outside Rental Sales Rep to drive profitable rentals of Caterpillar portable power, air compressors, and temperature control equipment. You will pursue and close opportunities in the assigned territory, building relationships with customers and providing equipment knowledge to support their business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be high energy and self-motivated.
• Take charge attitude with drive to help customers succeed.
• 1–2 years outside rental or sales experience preferred.
• Prospecting, new business development and customer retention skills required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new customers within the territory to maximum potential.
• Maintain and build positive customer relations.
• Weekly in person visits with customers in their offices and jobsites; provide product information and educate on financing plans.
• Maintain accurate customer records, Dodge Pipeline data, expenses and sales procedures.
• Coordinate with operations regarding equipment availability and rental programs.
