Job summary

NC Power Systems in Anchorage, AK is seeking an Outside Rental Sales Rep to generate profitable rentals and grow the customer base in the assigned territory. You will actively pursue rental opportunities for Caterpillar portable power generation equipment, mobile air compressors, and temperature control equipment, while answering technical inquiries and maintaining accurate customer records.

• 1-2 years outside rental or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new customers within the territory to maximum potential.
• Maintain and build positive customer relations.
• Weekly in person visits with customers in both offices and jobsites, providing product information and educating on financing plans.
• Maintain accurate customer records, log data, manage Dodge Pipeline information, expenses, and follow sales procedures.
• Coordinate with operations about equipment availability and rental programs.
