NC Power Systems in Alaska is seeking an Outside Rental Sales Rep to join our team. You will generate profitable rentals for our Caterpillar portable power generation equipment, mobile air compressors, and temperature control gear, while pursuing and closing opportunities in the assigned territory.

The ideal candidate is high-energy, self-driven, with 1–2 years outside rental or sales experience, strong prospecting and customer-relationship skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years outside rental or sales experience preferred.
• Prospecting, new business development and customer retention skills required.
• High energy and self-motivated with drive to help customers succeed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new customers within the territory to maximum potential.
• Maintain and build positive customer relations.
• Weekly in person visits with customers in both their offices and the jobsites and provide product information as well as educate them on financial merchandising plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed customer records including logging/input data, Dodge Pipeline information, expenses and sales procedures.
• Coordinate with operations on equipment availability and rental programs; perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

NC Power Systems is seeking an Outside Rental Sales Rep to join our team.

• The primary function of this role is to generate profitable rentals for NC Power Systems.
• The Rental Rep will aggressively pursue and close rental opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Specifically, this role is responsible for renting Caterpillar portable power generation equipment, the company's line of mobile air compressors, and also our line of temperature control equipment.
• The person successful in this role will demonstrate the ability to answer technical inquiries utilizing a strong understanding of our equipment.
• Personal aptitude and professional credibility is essential to be successful in this role.
• You must be an articulate and effective communicator to be successful assisting our customers with their business needs.

Responsibilities Include:

• Prospect and develop new customers within the territory to maximum potential.
• Maintain and build positive customer relations.

Lucrative Earning Potential: Base salary is $75,000 plus commission on rentals and sales. Total compensation range in the first year is expected at $80K - $100K.
