Job summary

Compass Pathways seeks a Patient Access Liaison to support REMS certification, strengthen site access readiness and provide compliant coverage and reimbursement education to healthcare stakeholders. The PAL will operate field-based in the Washington DC area with responsibilities across REMS, HUB and distribution partners.

The role emphasizes engagement with sites, matrix team collaboration, and maintaining CRM documentation while upholding non-promotional boundaries.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in field reimbursement, patient access and case management within pharmaceutical/biotech
• Experience navigating a complex healthcare ecosystem and interacting with multiple stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities

• Educate sites on REMS site certification activities and patient REMS enrolment processes
• Support site access workflows after REMS certification and strengthen account relationships
• Provide compliant education on coverage, coding, payment, reimbursement, benefit investigations, claims, prior authorizations, appeals and access processes
• Educate on case management processes for consented patients and affordability program navigation
• Identify and troubleshoot case-level access barriers through buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, HUB, and other approved pathways
• Coordinate patient treatment logistics across REMS requirements, HUB, distribution partners, and external support networks
• Receive and act on referrals and handoffs regarding site readiness, account economics, and access challenges
• Maintain compliant, timely CRM documentation to support cross-functional visibility
• Develop and execute account-level business plans reflecting site access priorities and patient access opportunities
• Maintain non-promotional boundaries justifying role responsibilities
