Job summary

AbbVie seeks a field-based Oncology Access professional serving the Houston area and nearby markets. You will educate providers on patient support programs, reimbursement processes, and access options while working with cross-functional oncology teams to optimize patient care.

Candidates should have strong payer knowledge, HCIR credentialing readiness, and robust account management skills to establish relationships with providers within the territory and monitor payer trends and policies.

Qualifications

• Strong oncology/hematology-oncology background and understanding of payer processes.
• Experience with reimbursement, prior authorization, and appeals.
• Excellent territory and account management skills.
• Must satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements and related checks.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on patient support programs, access and reimbursement tools.
• Educate on product-specific acquisition options and payer policies.
• Educate on resources to address access issues and claims submission processes.
• Collaborate with Oncology stakeholders for key account management.
• Report payer trends to Patient Services and MHC teams.
• Establish and maintain relationships with providers within the territory.
• Stay current on managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities.
