Job summary

AbbVie, a global biopharma leader, seeks a field-based payer access professional to educate HCPs on patient support programs and payer policies. You will collaborate with oncology teams, drive territory accounts, and monitor reimbursement trends across payers.

You will work with credentialing requirements, maintain driver’s license, and travel within designated cities and regions as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in oncology access/reimbursement or account management is preferred.
• Knowledge of payer policies, coverage, coding, billing, and prior authorization.
• Ability to communicate billing requirements at national/regional levels.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on patient support programs and access tools.
• Educate on product acquisition and distribution options and white-bagging support.
• Provide local expertise on payer policies and claims submission processes.
• Collaborate with Oncology teams for key account management.
• Report payer trends to Patient Services and MHC teams.
• Establish relationships with providers within the territory.
• Stay current on managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities.
