Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based access and reimbursement specialist to educate healthcare professionals on patient support programs, reimbursement tools, and product-specific access options within oncology and hematology. You will develop local expertise and maintain strong relationships across key territories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent territory and account management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on patient support programs, including access and reimbursement tools and services.
• Educate on product-specific acquisition and access options such as specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging support.
• Educate on resources available to address access issues.
• Provide local expertise on payor policies to educate providers on payer issues, coding changes, and claims submission processes.
• Collaborate with Oncology internal stakeholders for key account management.
• Report payer trends related to approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams.
• Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate providers within territory.
• Remain current on key managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities.
