Job summary

AbbVie seeks a field-based healthcare access professional for oncology reimbursement and payer policy education. You will educate providers on patient support programs, payor strategies, and access options across territory campaigns.

Qualifications

• Oncology and/or hematology-oncology experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with physician-administered therapies, buy-and-bill products, and reimbursement.
• Strong knowledge of coverage, coding, billing, and payer policy.
• Understand Medicare Parts A-D and related reimbursement dynamics.
• Must meet HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain credentials.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on patient support programs and reimbursement tools.
• Explain product-specific acquisition and access options and networks.
• Educate on resources to address access issues.
• Provide local expertise on payor policies and claims submission processes.
• Collaborate with Oncology internal stakeholders for key account management.
• Report payer trends to Patient Services and MHC teams.
• Establish relationships with providers within territory.
• Stay current on managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities.
