Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based professional to educate healthcare providers on patient access programs, reimbursement tools, and product acquisition options. The role covers Orlando and Miami areas, requiring proximity to major cities and strong knowledge of payer policies.

The candidate will collaborate with multiple oncology stakeholders, monitor payer trends, and build relationships with providers within the territory while staying current on reimbursement dynamics and credentialing

Qualifications

• Oncology/hematology experience strongly preferred with access and reimbursement background.
• Demonstrated understanding of coverage, coding, billing and payer policies.
• Excellent territory/account management skills and drive.
• Bachelor’s degree required; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on patient support programs and reimbursement tools.
• Educate on product access options including specialty networks and distribution.
• Provide local expertise on payer policies and claims processes.
• Collaborate with oncology stakeholders for key account management.
• Report payer trends to Patient Services and MHC teams.
• Establish and maintain provider relationships within the territory.
• Stay current on managed care and reimbursement activities.
