Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate providers on access and reimbursement for specialty medications. You will resolve coverage challenges and collaborate with payer teams to improve patient access.

Ideal candidates have strong knowledge of pharmacy benefits, prior authorizations, and appeals, with willingness to travel up to 80% within multiple states. A PACS certification within six months is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant practice management experience preferred.
• Previous Field Reimbursement Manager/Specialist experience preferred.
• Experience resolving pharmacy benefit access issues.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider office staff on access and reimbursement topics.
• Help patients access client products by resolving reimbursement issues.
• Collaborate with patient assistance and reimbursement teams.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement support and training at provider sites.
• Provide information on reimbursement topics per client approval.
