Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate providers on reimbursement and access for specialty medications, resolving coverage barriers and supporting patient access. The role requires weekly travel within a territory that includes Virginia, DC, Kentucky and Tennessee.

Ideal candidates have pharmacy benefits experience, prior authorizations, and the ability to partner with payer, provider and patient-support teams. A PACS certification is expected within six months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant practice management experience preferred.
• Experience as Field Reimbursement Manager/Specialist preferred.
• Healthcare experience resolving pharmacy benefit access issues.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% within territory.
• PACS certification within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider offices on access and reimbursement topics.
• Resolve reimbursement and coverage challenges to support patient access.
• Collaborate with patient assistance and reimbursement support services.
• Travel weekly within designated territory, including overnight stays.
• Deliver educational presentations at provider sites.
