Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate providers on reimbursement and access for specialty medications. You will travel within a designated territory, working with providers, payers and pharmacies to resolve access barriers and ensure patients receive needed medications.

The role requires knowledge of pharmacy benefits, prior authorizations, appeals, and extensive travel to healthcare offices. A PACS certification within six months is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Educate providers on access and reimbursement topics using client-approved resources.
• Resolve reimbursement and coverage challenges to support patient access to products.
• Collaborate with patient assistance and reimbursement teams.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider staff on insurance issues and payer policy changes within territories.
• Explain payer coverage management strategies including coding, billing, formulary, prior authorization, and appeals.
