Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate providers on reimbursement and access issues and to help secure patient access to specialty medications.

This role requires travel within a designated territory and close coordination with payers, providers, and patient support teams. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of pharmacy benefits, prior authorizations, coding and appeals, and a proven ability to navigate complex reimbursement landscapes.

Qualifications

• Must have field-based reimbursement and access support experience.
• Understanding of specialty pharmacy dynamics and payer policies.
• Experience with revenue cycle, formulary, benefit investigations, prior authorization, coding and appeals processes.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider offices on insurance issues and payer policies.
• Assist patient access by resolving reimbursement and coverage challenges.
• Collaborate with client reimbursement support services to address access barriers.
